Digital Identity Associate Director

About the role

Protiviti is seeking a Technology Consulting Associate Director to join its Digital Identity team. In this senior position you will lead client relationships, manage risk associated with Digital Identity technologies, develop strategic solutions, and oversee the successful delivery of project work plans. You will also identify new business opportunities, mentor team members, and serve as an ambassador for Protiviti in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen relationships with strategic clients and provide guidance on Digital Identity engagements.
• Develop and execute strategies to solve complex business problems using analytics, automation, and emerging tools.
• Lead the creation of new projects, identify business development opportunities, and build lasting client relationships.
• Mentor and develop team members, overseeing performance appraisals, coaching, and work reviews.
• Manage large‑scale identity programs and ensure successful completion of project work plans.

Technical skills & experience

• Hands‑on experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, Veza, CyberArk, Okta, Ping Identity, and Delinea.
• Delivery of strategic IAM and/or PAM advisory services, including assessments, strategy, and roadmap development.
• Design and implementation of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
• Design and implementation of Access Management technologies.
• Proficiency with role‑based access control, role mining, and role design.
• Knowledge of directory technologies such as Microsoft Entra AD, LDAP, or virtual directories.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, change management, and release management practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional/matrixed organization.

Education and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, etc.).
• 9+ years of experience in identity and access management, either in professional services/consulting or a large (Fortune 500) organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
• Professional certifications (identity‑vendor certifications or similar) strongly preferred.

Hybrid workplace model

Protiviti operates a hybrid model that blends purposeful in‑person work with remote flexibility. The ratio of remote to on‑site work varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Travel may be required to local Protiviti offices, client sites, or out‑of‑state locations as project needs dictate.

Compensation

Base salary range: $155,000 – $264,000 per year.
Bonus target: 16% of base salary.
Estimated total cash compensation (base + bonus): $179,800 – $306,240.
