About the role
The Hardware Engineering Directorate within Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join their team. This role focuses on designing digital electronic circuits for missile guidance, video, and digital signal processing. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multiprocessor designs.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and/or circuit cards for missile applications.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop cutting-edge technology that meets current and future mission needs.
- Work with systems that operate in extreme environments, from sub-zero conditions to high-pressure settings.
- Develop and design electronic circuit designs, including hardware designs with processors, FPGAs, memory, and industry interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of engineering digital circuit design experience.
- Experience in PCB design process and expertise with design tools (schematic capture) for design verification.
- Experience using Mentor Graphics Design Creation (Siemens EDA) tools: DxDesigner, xDX Designer VX, and/or Expedition.
- Experience using PCB electronic circuit design software: HyperLynx signal integrity, power integrity, and analog simulation, and/or Xpedition Enterprise (xPCB).
Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

- Competitive salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 annually.
