About the role

The Multi-Product Power & Digital (MPD) department designs FPGAs, circuit cards, and electronics subassemblies for missiles/effectors, radars, and electronic warfare systems. The department leverages digital, analog, and power design skills to support products throughout the lifecycle—from architecture and design through production and sustainment. This onsite position in McKinney, TX, is for a Digital Hardware Design Engineer II who will create cutting‑edge solutions for sensor and effector products, partner with multidisciplinary teams, and provide engineering support from concept through verification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with architecture development at the circuit‑card level.
  • Design, analyze, test, and document digital electronics circuit‑card assemblies, including embedded processors, FPGAs, memories, and industry‑standard interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I²C, SPI, and UART.
  • Partner with senior engineers and ECAD drafters through stack‑up definition, pre/post‑route simulation (SI/PI), layout, and routing activities.
  • Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
