Schedule

  • 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day (3:00 pm to 1:00 am)

Pay

  • $17.45 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

  • Effectively perform machine operations – converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions
  • Ensure machines operate efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards
  • Accurately set up machines to cut and rewind to specific customer requirements
  • Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications
  • Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for the machine and daily operation
  • Inspect equipment for defects and perform maintenance duties as necessary
  • Read and understand written instructions and job tickets, as well as comprehend verbal instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures
  • Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events
  • Serve as an example of company values: innovation, respect, integrity, creativity, and collaboration

Requirements

  • Basic math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/conversions

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

  • Regularly required to carry and lift up to 20 lbs unassisted
  • Occasionally required to carry and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand for the majority of shift – 2-hour increments
  • Short distance walking required with rolls to be placed on shipping table
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach frequently
  • Must be able to differentiate between color variance
  • Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions (e.g., dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals) – 21% to 50% of work time
  • Constantly required to walk, stand, grasp, reach, push/pull, bend, stoop, twist, and use manual dexterity for prolonged periods
  • Regularly required to hear, speak, and use color vision
