Digital Engineering Lead (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Digital Engineering Lead to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will guide digital engineering standards and model-based practices across complex client programs. You will help shape the processes, templates, and automation that improve engineering quality, traceability, and delivery discipline. The position also partners closely with technical teams and clients to support execution from kickoff through release management. In addition, you will coach engineers on model-based methods while helping drive consistent outcomes across mechanical and electrical design workflows. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,200 – $278,500 annually Responsibilities Define and maintain model-based design authoring standards and related templates Set strategies for neutral-derivative and automated-analysis outputs Establish the PLM release path and engineering change processes Integrate electrical and harness design standards alongside mechanical parts Manage quality gates and ensure traceability from engineering to hardware Oversee project delivery including kickoff and schedule management Coach engineers on model-based processes and tools Qualifications 10+ years in digital or model-based engineering, with hands-on MBD in PTC Creo and/or Zuken E3.series Proven track record of managing MBD/MBE standards, templates, and automation Strong understanding of GD&T and model-based definition standards (ASME Y14.5, Y14.41) Experience implementing digital thread and configuration management Proven leadership experience with technical teams and client interactions U.S. citizenship required Benefits Comprehensive health and wellness plans Retirement savings options with employer matching Flexible work arrangements including remote options Career development and training programs Generous paid time off and holidays Diverse and inclusive work environment Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
