About the role
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting social media for large retail or consumer-facing organizations. The role is hybrid, requiring at least 3 days onsite per week in Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of social media strategies and campaigns across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest)
- Write and publish engaging, on-brand social media content and captions
- Actively engage with customers and online communities, responding to comments, DMs, and trending conversations in a timely manner
- Aid in developing and maintaining content calendars and campaign timelines
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, brand) to ensure consistent messaging
- Maintain awareness of social trends and proactively surface opportunities for engagement and content creation
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience managing or supporting social media accounts for a large retail or high-volume consumer brand
- Experience: Writing for social media (clear, engaging, brand-aligned copy), Creating or coordinating social content, Engaging directly with customers on social platforms, Tracking and reporting on performance metrics
- Exposure to executing social campaigns for brands with significant audience traffic and engagement
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
Qualifications
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands with large audiences
- Familiarity with paid social or boosting content
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Skills
- Hands-on experience supporting social media for established retail brands
- Strong balance of content creation, community engagement, and analytical thinking
