About the role

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience supporting social media for large retail or consumer-facing organizations. The successful candidate will be based in Raleigh, NC, working in a hybrid model with at least 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of social media strategies and campaigns across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest)
  • Write and publish engaging, on-brand social media content and captions
  • Actively engage with customers and online communities, responding to comments, DMs, and trending conversations in a timely manner
  • Aid in developing and maintaining content calendars and campaign timelines
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, creative, brand) to ensure consistent messaging
  • Maintain awareness of social trends and proactively identify opportunities for engagement and content creation

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience managing or supporting social media accounts for a large retail or high-volume consumer brand
  • Experience: Writing for social media (clear, engaging, brand-aligned copy), Creating or coordinating social content, Engaging directly with customers on social platforms, Tracking and reporting on performance metrics
  • Exposure to executing social campaigns for brands with significant audience traffic and engagement
  • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands with large audiences
  • Familiarity with paid social or boosting content
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
