About the role
Oklahoma State University's Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources seeks a senior Digital Coordinator to join the Digital Team in the Dean's Office, Division of Agriculture. The position is located at the Stillwater campus, with some flexibility for remote work.
Responsibilities
- Supervise two graduate student workers and mentor Digital Communications Specialists
- Lead the team's analytics function and search optimization efforts
- Evaluate and apply AI tools to digital workflows
- Develop training for CMS users across the Division
- Perform core production work such as updating and designing web pages, ensuring WCAG AA conformance, and supporting CMS migrations
- Remediate documents for accessibility
- Contribute to team efforts and provide leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Three to five years of progressive experience managing websites, remediating documents, and producing digital content
- One year of supervising staff, student workers, or peer mentees
- Demonstrated experience in accessibility standards and WCAG 2.1 conformance
- Experience with web analytics, SEO, and AI tools
- Experience supervising or mentoring employees
- Working knowledge of web analytics platforms and AI tooling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Experience in higher education, Extension, or other public-sector content environments
- Familiarity with Squiz Matrix
Skills
- Tech-savvy and highly computer literate
- Web content editing in enterprise content management systems
- HTML and CSS sufficient to diagnose and fix page-level issues
- Web analytics: GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, SiteImprove and tag implementation basics
- SEO and GEO: keyword and topic research, structured data, content briefs, AI search visibility analysis
- AI tooling: prompt design, evaluation of AI outputs for accuracy and brand fit, workflow integration
- Accessibility remediation in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and across web platforms
- Photo editing in Photoshop or equivalent
- Training development: written guides, screencasts, and live instruction
