Digital Content Specialist, Shared Services

UVM Health - UVM Medical Center · South Burlington, VT · 1 mo ago
Full-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. The job posting includes job summary, education, experience, knowledge/special skills. No explicit Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we should not include those sections. We need headings:

for each section. Use
  • for lists. Use

for prose. We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent. Remove boilerplate. No job title heading. No metadata like Job ID. We need to decide sections: About the role (job summary), Responsibilities (maybe from job summary? The posting includes responsibilities: creates, manages, optimizes content, works within Drupal CMS, connects patients, etc. Could be considered responsibilities). Requirements (education, experience). Qualifications (maybe same as requirements? But we can separate: Education as Qualifications? Actually typical: Requirements = experience, Qualifications = education/skills. But we need to follow instruction: use headings only when posting has real specific content. We have content for About the role (job summary). Responsibilities: we can extract duties: creates, manages, optimizes content for website; works within Drupal CMS; connects patients/families with info/services/resources; applies SEO/GEO best practices, taxonomy, metadata; develops, curates, publishes content; collaborates with stakeholders; identifies opportunities to improve UX; manages multiple projects; etc. That's enough. Requirements: maybe experience (at least eight years...). Qualifications: education (Bachelor's degree preferred). Skills: knowledge/special skills list. We should not include Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to output only HTML fragment. Let's craft:

We need to ensure no extra sections like Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Also ensure no duplicate content. The job summary already includes some responsibilities; but we separated them. It's okay to have some overlap? The instruction: preserve all substantive information; we can repeat but better not duplicate. However we have repeated some points like "creates, manages, optimizes content" appears both in About the role and Responsibilities. Might be considered duplication but it's okay as it's from different parts. Could we avoid duplication by moving all duties to Responsibilities and keep About the role as a brief overview without repeating list? The About the role currently includes many duties; we could trim it to just overview. But we need to preserve all substantive information; we can keep overview and then list responsibilities separately; some overlap is okay but might be considered duplication. The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." Overlap is not inventing or summarizing away; it's repeating. Might be acceptable but could be considered redundant. However better to keep About the role as a short paragraph summarizing the role (maybe first two sentences) and then responsibilities list details. Let's craft About the role as a concise summary: "The Digital Content Specialist is a versatile, proactive member of the centralized digital team who creates, manages and optimizes content for the UVM Health website. Using a strategic, user‑centered approach, this role works within Drupal CMS to connect patients and families with the information, services and resources they need through clear, accessible and easy‑to‑navigate content." That captures core. Then responsibilities list includes the rest. We must ensure we don't lose any substantive info: The rest of the job summary includes ideal candidate description, etc. Those could go under Requirements/Skills. We'll incorporate. Let's rewrite. About the role: short paragraph. Responsibilities: list of duties (content creation, Drupal, SEO, etc.) Requirements: experience items (8 years, awareness, collaborator, digital ecosystem, project management, organized, expert-level, entrepreneurial, storytelling formats, SEO/analytics, strategic, high-stakes). Also maybe include "Strong writer and editor with CMS experience and solid understanding of UX and digital marketing" could be under Skills or Requirements. We'll put under Skills. Qualifications: education. Skills: all knowledge/special skills list plus writer/editor, CMS experience, UX/digital marketing, etc. Let's compile. We need to ensure we don't miss any specifics: "Strong writer and editor with CMS experience and a solid understanding of user experience and digital marketing." That's a skill. Also "They are comfortable managing multiple projects, collaborating with stakeholders across teams and identifying opportunities to improve the user experience." That's responsibility/skill. Also "This role develops, curates and publishes content, applying SEO/GEO best practices, taxonomy and metadata standards to improve discoverability and engagement." That's responsibility.
