Digital Content Producer

WGXA has an immediate opening for a creative Social Media/Digital Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for content creation on all platforms. This position will also work closely with the Digital Executive Producer and Assignment desk on content. In this position you will generate and write stories and develop stories/videos for our many platforms. The ideal candidate will have: Solid news judgmentBe a compelling and accurate writerBe able to multitask and manage time Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsThe ability to execute news strategies and goalsFlexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a mustProficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems, such as iNews Experience: Previous experience in a newsroom is preferredA journalism degree is preferred Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
