Digital Content Producer

About the Role

The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating, securing, and updating quality text, audio, graphic, and video content for designated Entravision interactive properties (web, mobile, and video/streaming) as well as supporting all company-wide interactive initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work and coordinate with the Entravision Interactive Team, Local News Directors, News Reporters and Producers, Promotions, and Sales as needed and directed.
• Identify, secure, prepare, and update news content for online, mobile, and social networks.
• Perform daily updates of sites, including but not limited to: local news, slideshows, text, audio, video, local organizations, photo galleries, local events, local special categories, and other online content.
• Monitor and improve KPI (Key Performance Indicators) such as uniques, visits, page-views, average time on site, pages per visit, bounce rates, social friends, and followers, with a strong focus on growing traffic, engagement, and monetization.
• Keep content focused on relevancy for viewers.
• Support branding, marketing, and promoting interactive properties.
• Ensure content is free of errors, typos, and spelling/grammar mistakes, and avoid broken links, images, or missing content.
• Maintain a positive attitude, be viewer-focused, and strive to provide top-notch value, local information, and entertainment.
• Be innovative and consistently look for opportunities to improve operations through creativity and hard work.

Requirements

• Excellent creative writing and proofreading skills in both English and Spanish, with translation capabilities.
• Basic graphic design skills.
• Familiarity with all mainstream social media platforms.
• Experience using software applications for image, audio, and video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion, iMovie).
• Experience working with content within a CMS (Content Management System) environment such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for web content creation, including experience with HTML editors.
