Digital Content Producer
Responsibilities
- Craft engaging content and social media posts to drive audience engagement
- Create a diverse range of web content from various sources
- Work closely with the Digital Executive Producer, News Director, Assistant News Director, and Creative Services Director
Requirements
- Extremely proficient with multiple video-sharing and social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok
- Creative in cross-promotions between on-air and online
- Solid news judgment
- Compelling and accurate writing skills
- Proficient in AP Style
- Fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with non-linear editing (Avid) and newsroom systems (iNews) is a plus
- May be asked to help on the assignment desk as needed
- Willingness to work weekends, overnights, and holidays
Qualifications
Must have a pulse on the 24/7 news environment
Must be proficient in AP Style
Must be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
Must have strong leadership and communication skills
Must have flexibility and on-the-spot problem-solving abilities
May be asked to help on the assignment desk as needed
Willingness to work weekends, overnights, and holidays
