About the role
Senior Associates play an integral client-facing project or work-stream leadership role. While activities vary based on project size, scope, and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Sr. Associate can expect to spend their time with a heavy focus on material client interaction through all projects, project management, intensive data analysis, and identifying the “so-what’s” therein. They also create compelling client-ready presentations and develop Analysts and Coachees.
Responsibilities
- Lead client-facing projects or work-streams with a focus on Workday Integration development
- Engage in intensive data analysis and derive actionable insights
- Create compelling, client-ready presentations
- Manage project activities and ensure timely delivery across multiple phases
- Develop and mentor Analysts and Coachees
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Produce clear technical documentation, including design and configuration details
- Support testing activities, troubleshoot integration issues, and implement enhancements
- Balance work across multiple projects of varying size and complexity
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on Workday Integration development experience
- Experience with at least two of the following technologies: Web Services (REST and/or SOAP), XML, XSLT, Workday Studio/Orchestrate, EIB, Workday Cloud Connect
- Contributed to the delivery of multiple Workday HCM and/or Financials implementations, supporting at least two project phases
- Strong understanding of integration design principles and data flows between Workday and external systems
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
Skills
- Workday Integration and/or Studio certification (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience producing clear technical documentation
- Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Familiarity with development and productivity tools such as Notepad++, UltraEdit, Oxygen XML, AQT, Beyond Compare, ASAP Utilities, or similar
- Interest in mentoring junior team members and contributing to team knowledge sharing
