Digital Co-op

About the role

The Digital department at Ameren Services supports Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates. As a co-op, you will participate in meaningful work activities related to analysis, assessment, design, and collaboration. Coaching and feedback are integral to the experience, and you will work alongside talented digital staff.

Available co-op opportunities:

• January – August 2027 (Spring Co-op)
• May – December 2027 (Fall Co-op)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or an equivalent business or computer-related field
• Minimum 2.5 GPA

A successful candidate will also:

• Have a process-improvement and problem-solving mindset
• Work collaboratively, take initiative, work independently, and meet deadlines
• Gather requirements from leaders, stakeholders, and other parties to deliver on initiatives

Skills and technologies

Co-ops will gain exposure to the following:

• Programming & scripting languages (e.g., .NET, SQL, COBOL, Java, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MVC, Angular, PowerShell)
• REST API design and coding
• Relational Database Management: Oracle, SQL Server
• AWS Cloud Products
• Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, Eclipse, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Splunk, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Processes: Agile, Scrum, Kanban

Location

This position is based at Ameren Headquarters in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The work arrangement is hybrid.

Pay

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, determined by skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity.
