About the role
As a key member of the TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. team, you will play a pivotal role in the trading of low carbon energies. Your responsibilities will involve managing market dynamics, ensuring profitability, and contributing to the company's goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
Responsibilities
- Manage market analysis and forecasting to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy trading activities
- Monitor and respond to regulatory changes and market trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to risk management protocols and maintain a robust risk assessment framework
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in energy trading or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with financial modeling and risk management
- Knowledge of international energy markets and regulations
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
- Professional certifications in energy trading or finance (e.g., CFA, FRM)
