Responsibilities
Deliver analysis, insights, and recommendations to support enhancements of GM Financial’s consumer and dealer marketing
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand goals, objectives, establish KPIs and ensure valid and reliable measurement and tracking
Support GMF products and business units by developing reporting that monitors behavior and performance of marketing campaigns and channels
Effective communication about results to different internal audiences
Identify data discrepancies and collaborate with Integration and Developer teams for support
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, Python, SQL, etc.)
- Experience using analytics tools and technologies such as SAS, Python, Databricks, and Power BI preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of the capabilities of industry tools for dashboarding such as PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Knowledge of popular testing methodologies and types of analyses used in marketing measurement (Test vs Control analysis, A/B, Multivariate, Incrementality, Break-even analysis, Lift analysis, Regression, Cluster analysis, etc.)
- Knowledge of data warehouses, data mining, and data analysis techniques
- Foundational statistical knowledge including significance testing, sampling, probability, variation, correlation, bias, etc.
- Ability to conduct data analysis to solve problems and answer questions
- Critical thinking skills - capable of understanding how measurement connects to business goals and objectives
- Passion for diving into data to uncover key insights into performance
- Able to manage a workload with multiple projects with varying priorities with tight deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Strong prioritization, time management, organization and follow-up skills
Education & Work Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics or other quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience required
- Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
- 1-3 years of total relevant experience required
- 1 or more years of hands-on experience with statistical analysis software (SAS, Python, SQL, etc.) preferred

- Working effectively within an AI enabled environment: Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights

- Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection
