Digital Advertising Specialist 2

About the role

Provides advertising sales and production support for Illinois Farm Bureau's (IFB) advertising and news platforms including FarmWeek, FarmWeekNow.com, RFD Radio Network, Partners magazine.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming and places outgoing sales calls regarding classified advertisements for assigned publications.
• Affords assistance with classified ad ordering, duration, wording, payment and final publishing.
• Identifies upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase advertising revenues across all platforms.
• Works as member of the advertising team to help develop concepts and methods to implement promotional and outreach marketing projects.
• Collaborates with team members and customers to understand specifications and organize projects to ensure specifications, deadlines and budget are met.
• Affords assistance with developing digital analytics reports for key stakeholders, including the Board.
• Utilizes data to assist in decision-making regarding news content, messaging and promotion.
• May develop creative designs for print and digital display ads and other illustrations for IFB advertising and news platforms upon request.
• Exercises professional leadership by keeping abreast of current trends, developments, technology and new opportunities within field of responsibility.

Requirements

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

• Normal office environment.
• Limited lifting for moving equipment and displays weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Extensive computer work.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
