About the role

In your role as an Equipment Technician, you'll perform functions associated with manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. You will use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. You may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process while complying with all health, safety, and environmental management system guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM), Change Point Management (CPM), and System Maintenance following standard operating procedures to ensure equipment, processes, and systems run effectively.
  • Conduct failure analysis and troubleshoot using scripts to anticipate future failures.
  • Monitor equipment and processes in their current state and proactively look for ways to improve processes.
  • Work collaboratively on a fast-paced team.

Requirements

  • Any 2-year technical certification (TTI, ITT, Trade Cert, HVAC, etc); 3+ ASE certs or 4 years Semiconductor Technician experience (no cert, passes test) or 4 years equivalent technical Military service.
  • Familiarity with SPC methods and implementation.
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Familiar with TPM concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail, task-oriented, and place high value on customer service, teamwork, and flexibility.
  • Ability to strictly adhere to SOPs.
  • Ability to work off-hours if necessary.
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electronics.

Pay

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications, and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on organizational and individual performance.

Schedule

  • B Shift: Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
  • D Shift: Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
