Dietitian Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dietitian Supervisor to lead our dietetics team in providing exceptional nutritional care and services.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of clinical dietetic activities
• Ensuring compliance with nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards
• Mentoring and directing dietitian staff
• Developing and implementing nutrition care plans
• Serving as a consultant to medical and nursing staff
• Engaging in various administrative tasks, including conducting employment interviews, preparing reports, and monitoring staff performance
• Providing oversight of the contract food services vendor who provides comprehensive food services for the facility

Requirements

• Registered dietitian with a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience in dietetics
• Licensed as a Dietitian by the State of Tennessee
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to develop and lead a team
• A thorough understanding of medical conditions affected by diet

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Experience in managing a team of dietitians
• Knowledge of medical conditions and their impact on nutrition
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, clients, and community providers
