About the role
Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a full-time inpatient Registered Dietitian to join their clinical team at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, NV.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional care for inpatients with a variety of disease states at Renown Regional Medical Center
- Perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays
- Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
- Precept dietetic interns
Requirements
- A Registered Dietitian credential and licensed in NV or eligible for a license in NV
- Prior acute care experience in an acute care healthcare setting and some long-term care/clinical experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills, a self-starter, and will be a team player
- The ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
- Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
- Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
