Dietitian Nutritionist II

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK. This 283-bed teaching hospital offers a variety of health-care specialties including oncology, surgical, cardiovascular, OB/GYN, behavioral health, general medicine, and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Work a rotating holiday coverage schedule providing hospital wide coverage (no weekends)
• Perform quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department
• Educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses
• Aid the Food Service Management team, as needed

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Be a self-starter and a team player
• The ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in OK

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
• For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by ACEND
• Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
