Job Summary
Dietitian – Per Diem (Days)
- Guaranteed 16–24 hours a week (based on NICU census)
- PRN but with stability
- Work with our smallest patients in the NICU and support new moms in Women’s & Infants Services
- Optional adult patient coverage for vacation relief if you’d like to mix it up
- Collaborate with an amazing interdisciplinary team who values your expertise
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide individualized clinical nutrition support
- Monitor and adjust therapeutic diets per physician orders
- Offer nutrition education to patients and families
- Work closely with medical records, nursing, and ancillary staff to ensure the best nutrition outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Food, Nutrition, or related field from an accredited college or university
- Certification: Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration, Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics)
- Experience: 1+ year of acute care experience; NICU experience preferred but not required
- Skills: Strong communication, excellent customer service, and a team-first mindset
- Bonus Points: Excited about tiny feeding tubes, growth charts, and celebrating those “up 10 grams!” days. Can translate complex nutrition info into clear, compassionate conversations for families. Love being part of a team that celebrates both big milestones and small wins.
