Dietetics Technician/UKHC

Job Summary

The Dietetics Technician performs as a member of the interdisciplinary team, assisting the Registered Dietitian in safe and timely placement of Cortrak feeding tubes while ensuring customer satisfaction and positive public relations through the safe and efficient use of resources.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Dietetic Technician Registered or degree in Dietetics highly preferred
• In-depth diet and nutritional interactions knowledge
• Able to manage multiple tasks and/or projects while accurately completing routine functions
• Independent work and teamwork skills
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
• Customer service and active listening skills
• Dependability and excellent attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Regularly standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
• Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time
• Performing tasks with repetitive motions, such as typing

Shift

• Must be able to work three 10-hour (8:00 am – 6:30 pm) shifts per week
• Regular weekend and holiday shifts required
