Responsibilities

• Nutrition intervention, nutrition counseling, education, and documenting nutrition care plans.
• Participates in the quality improvement program at the direction of the dietitian.
• Screening new admissions.
• Conducting meal rounds.
• Calculating calorie counts.
• Checking tray line.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span.
• Ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age‑specific needs.
• Proficient computer skills necessary for daily tasks.
