About the Role
Dietetic Technicians conduct nutrition screens, provide basic nutrition information, work in the human milk lab or formula preparation areas, and help stock formula. The Dietetic Tech, under general supervision, assists Clinical Dietitian in the provision of in-patient nutritional care. Collects subjective and objective data for evaluation of nutrition acuity per CNS protocol. Assumes responsibility for patients evaluated as low to moderate nutritional acuity. Provides formula and basic nutrition education upon discharge as needed. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.
Schedule
Primary days: Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday but flexible; shifts may start as early as 7am and end as late as 10pm.

Requirements
- 1+ year of related experience
- Basic pediatric nutrition knowledge to include basic pediatric assessment and basic counseling skills
- Computer skills
Qualifications
- A.A. degree and Dietetic Technician certificate program; OR BS/BA degree in Nutrition or related field
- DTR (Diet Technician Registered) required
- Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification
