About the role

The Dietetic Clerk assists patients in selecting meal items and processes nutrition orders through data entry into the food and nutrition software program (CBORD). The dietetic clerk ensures patient safety by following the prescribed diet while excluding food allergies listed in the patient’s medical record.

Responsibilities

• Modify patient menus and fulfill nourishments and enteral feedings.
• Confirm accuracy of patient meal creation.
• Process payment for guest meals.
• Communicate with clinical and dietary staff to assist with patients’ specific dietary needs.
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and other departments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Basic data entry computer skills.
• 3-month probation period to become proficient in job knowledge.

Pay

$18.48/hour+, based on experience.
