Diet Clerk - Part Time - Rotating Shift

About the role

This position is responsible for patient meal ordering, coordinating diet information, and managing supply orders within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtain meal orders via customer service, telephone, and computer
• Coordinate patient diet details with tray line, diet office, and dietitians
• Manage supply orders for hospital departments
• Support patient nutrition needs and ensure accurate diet coordination
• Assist with supply management

Requirements

• At least one year of food service or customer service experience
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets is beneficial but not required

Skills

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with computers and telecommunication

Schedule

Part-time (20 hours per week) on a rotating shift, including weekends.

Pay

Salary ranges from $18.85 to $31.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
