Dietary Supervisor

About the role

Sentara Obici Hospital is hiring a Full Time Dietary Supervisor. 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Patient meal service on assigned units: menu selections, tray assembly, tray delivery
• Check back on patients every five rooms
• Handle special requests, needs, and preferences
• In‑between meal food delivery
• Responsible for patient satisfaction on assigned units

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Certified Food Service Handler's Card
• Four years of food service experience

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification (preferred)
• Two years of supervisor experience (preferred)
• Customer service experience (preferred)

Pay

Base pay range for full‑time employment: $21.12 – $31.48 hourly. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, on‑call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.

Schedule

Rotating schedule: 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or 12:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
