Dietary Manager

About the role

As a Dietary Manager you will be critical to the operations of the Dietary Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Avantara Arrowhead by assisting in planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department, supervising Dietary Staff, ensuring department cleanliness and ensuring residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and directing all aspects of the Dietary Department
• Supervise Dietary Staff
• Ensure department cleanliness
• Ensure residents receive meals that meet their nutritional needs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum education level
• Serve Safe Manager certification
• Two (2) years of Dietary Manager experience in a healthcare setting

Preferred qualifications

• Dietary Manager Certification (C.D.M.) is preferred but we are willing to invest in the right candidate
