Dietary Cook (Food Service)

About the Role

As a Dietary Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our patients and residents are met, while also contributing to the success of our Food Service department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for patients and residents, including special diets and tray service
• Plan and implement menu ideas and recipes that meet the dietary needs of our patients and residents
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Assist with food ordering and inventory management
• Collaborate with other members of the Food Service team to ensure smooth operation of the department
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient and resident experience
