About the role

Pawtucket Falls Health Care is a senior living organization dedicated to providing superior service in a warm and inviting atmosphere. We are seeking a skilled Dietary Cook to join our culinary department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Restock inventory and supplies as needed, ordering items when necessary
• Assist with menu planning and special diets as required
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient meal production and presentation
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training or experience preferred
• Ability to work varying shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Food safety and sanitation certification preferred
