About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
• Maintain and enhance residents' overall health through nutritionally appropriate food provision
• Safely and efficiently provide food service in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation preferred

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality

Skills

• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
