About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dietary Cook to join their team. The role involves preparing and serving meals, monitoring food handling and preparation, ensuring quality food service, and adhering to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
• Maintain and enhance residents' health through nutritionally appropriate food
• Safely and efficiently provide food to residents
• Monitor methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation preferred

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
