About the role

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Dietary Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated and compassionate, with a fire and passion for working with seniors. They should have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior dietary experience in a long-term care facility, skilled in large-scale cooking operations, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to the menu
• Maintain and enhance residents' overall health through nutritionally appropriate food provision
• Safely and efficiently provide food services in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior dietary experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting
• One year of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation
