Dietary Cook
Position Summary
The primary purpose of your job is to prepare food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, community procedures, and food safety and sanitation regulations, under the supervision of the Food Service Director. Follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Dietary Policies and Procedures.
Education/Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent is required.
- Can provide guidance and resources to help you earn your GED.
- Must possess a working knowledge of the fundamentals of food safety and sanitation.
- Must meet and remain current with state specific requirements for food handler training.
