Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with planned menus and resident dietary needs.
- Ensure food is prepared and served at proper temperatures and in a sanitary manner.
- Assist with kitchen cleanup and dishwashing as needed.
- Follow all safety and infection control policies.
- Work collaboratively with dietary aides and other team members to ensure resident satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or institutional setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Dependable, positive attitude, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- ServSafe certification a plus (or willing to obtain).
