Join Henry County Health and Rehabilitation as a Dietary Cook, where compassion feels like family. You'll be an essential part of our residents' care in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms and reports, and submit to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
• Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and/or snacks as necessary.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of dietary or food service experience preferred
