Dietary and Food Aide

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes.

About the role

Join our team as a Dietary Aide supporting our Adult Day Health program in Dorchester! In this role, you'll assist with food preparation and meal service for the individuals we support, keep the kitchen and dining area clean, and help create a warm, dignified mealtime experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing menu items following our dietary standards and procedures
• Keep food and supplies stocked, placing orders as needed
• Maintain clean, well-organized kitchen and dining equipment
• Report any safety concerns or incidents to your supervisor
• Support the dignity, choice, and independence of the individuals we serve

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Serve Safe Certification preferred but not required
• Bilingual in Haitian Creole preferred

Pay

$16/hr

Schedule

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
