Dietary Aide - Full Time

Schedule

Full-time, 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist in dietary preparation and cleanup for residents and guests in accordance with guidelines, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Serve meals on a timely basis.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning, including carrying out garbage and maintaining clean, dry, and hazard-free work areas.
• Clean and set up trays, food carts, and the dining room as instructed.
• Work as a Cook when directed.
• Maintain proper food temperature during preparation and service.
• Assist in checking therapeutic diet trays before distribution.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, ensuring utensils and dishware are available for the next meal.
• Prepare food, supply meals, and deliver snacks as instructed.
• Assist in inventory and storage of dietary supplies, maintaining clean and organized food storage areas.
• Assist in food preparation for special events.
• Dispose of food and waste according to established policies.
• Make only authorized food substitutions.
• Perform other duties as directed and assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a food service setting preferred.
