Responsibilities
- Hourly Compensation Range: $16.00
- Specific Shift Times: 2-week rotation, Full Time - 6am-2:30pm (32 or 40 hours)
- WEEK 1: Sunday - Off, Monday - 6am-2:30pm, Tuesday - 6am-2:30pm, Wednesday - Off, Thursday - 6am-2:30pm, Friday - Off, Saturday - 6am-2:30pm
- WEEK 2: Sunday - 6am-2:30pm, Monday - 6am-2:30pm, Tuesday - Off, Wednesday - 6am-2:30pm, Thursday - 6am-2:30pm, Friday - 6am-2:30pm, Saturday - Off

Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Applicants under 18 must have a workers permit and parents' consent required for onboarding documentation
- Clear Cisive Background Check - last 7 years reviewed
- Compassion for a vulnerable population
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience in healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
- Able to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to read and understand procedure and instruction manuals and directions
- Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and Division

- General Purpose: Dietary aide assignments are determined by the needs basis on the activity of the shift. He/she is reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor.
Essential Duties
- Must be able to learn food service routine within a short period
- Set up meal trays
- Must strip down returned trays and start washing dishes
- Assist with serving the different meals
- Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at the beginning of shift
- Observe water temperatures of dishwasher during dishwashing cycles
- Operate dishwasher
- Prepare nourishments and snacks
- Sweep and mop kitchen
- Carry out trash and garbage
- Put groceries away in a safe, orderly and clean manner
- To leave the kitchen in a clean and sanitary manner and be of assistance when called upon by the cook or dietary supervisor
- Clean work surfaces and refrigerators
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors
- Participate in the orientation and on going training of dietary staff
- Ability to work in cooperation and harmony with personnel in all departments
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees
- Mental Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
