About the role
Oak Park Place employs passionate individuals who help write the next chapter of our residents’ lives. As a Dietary Aide, you will prepare and serve meals, follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, set up dining areas, deliver meals to residents, and assist with cleaning and sanitation. You will also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor patient intake and manage inventory.
Responsibilities
- Serve residents' meals according to instructions
- Use proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
- Clean and sanitize the dining area
- Stock the food storage areas and refrigerators
- Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils
Requirements
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
- Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
