About the role
As a Dietary Assistant, you will clean food preparation areas and dishes and assist with the preparation of food trays and nourishments for residents.
Responsibilities
- Helps prepare hot and cold foods and beverages.
- Maintains and follows all meal schedules.
- Prepares trays with proper and accurate food items and transports meals.
- Prepares snacks and nourishments for residents.
- Cleans food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, glasses, and cups.
Requirements
- Must be able to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language clearly and understandably.
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
