About the role
We are seeking a Dietary Aide to join our team. This role is critical in upholding the standards of cleanliness, safety, and resident satisfaction within our community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of meals and snacks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, contributing to a pleasant and hygienic environment for residents.
- Receive, organize, and store supplies and food items, managing their rotation as per established guidelines.
- Engage with residents regularly to offer assistance and create a positive dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including washing dishes, pans, and utensils to uphold sanitation standards.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, safety protocols, and sanitation procedures within the facility.
- Ensure food storage and workspaces are clean and safe, and promptly report any safety or sanitation violations to the supervisor.
- Handle food in strict accordance with sanitary regulations to guarantee the safety and well-being of residents.
Requirements
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, turn, stoop, and stretch.
- Ability to unload and stock groceries on shelves of various heights and to lift large items up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to write and record data, and to read and follow oral and written instructions in English.
- Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in cases of emergency.
- Ability to communicate with residents, staff, and family members in a professional manner.

Starting Rate: $15.75 per hour
