Diet Clerk - Full Time - St. Peter's Hospital - Albany, NY

About the role

Diet Clerk – St. Peter’s Hospital – Rotating Shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prints menus, tray tickets, tallies, and nourishment labels.
• Answers diet office phones, handles calls appropriately, and maintains recording of special tray ticket requests.
• Distributes dietitian-related consults appropriately.
• Ensures consistency of hospital-wide and CBORD computer information systems, including ADT’s and diet orders.
• Completes other clerical duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Food service and/or customer service experience is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic typing skills.
• Must be willing to remove artificial nails, eyelashes, and jewelry per NYS Food Safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Nutrition and clerical experience preferred.

Pay

$16.20 – $23.50 per hour; pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
