Job Summary
Affords assistance in the preparation and service of food for patients or patrons. Undertakes cleaning and sanitation tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation and served food to patrons, adhering to proper portion size and method of service.
- Operates cash register in accordance with hospital and department policy and procedures.
- Adheres to sanitary regulations and department policy and procedures when handling food and equipment and in maintaining a clean work area.
- Adheres to Hospital and department policies/procedures regarding attendance, uniform, personal hygiene, and job duties.
Requirements
- Assists in other dietary department functions.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Work may require fair amount of dexterity and mobility.
