What You'll Do
- Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture
- Modify, repair and install all types of machinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable CMC Safety Policies and Procedures
- Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, equipment repairs and troubleshooting equipment problems in an accurate and efficient manner
- Perform repairs on Hydraulic and electrical equipment as assigned
- Train to perform industrial mechanical repairs and gain knowledge about hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Work as a part of the maintenance team
- Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on fleet trucks and trailers, including diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems
What You'll Need
- Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
- Minimum 2 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment
- Must be able to communicate technically, orally and written
- Must be able to use a computer
- Possess proficient skills utilizing hand tools, power tools and precision tools for performing all facets of the repair and maintenance process
- Safety oriented person with leadership skills to perform maintenance duties in a team environment and ability to work alone with little or no supervision
- Able to work overtime as business requires
- Possess specific knowledge of both diesel engines and hydraulic systems
Your Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
Pay Range
$24.00-28.00/hr (Depending on Experience)
