Diesel Technician Truck Mechanic

Duties

• Service and repair work, including drive train, engine, steering, electrical, suspension, and brakes.
• Troubleshooting, inspections, and diagnostics.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Use computer skills and good verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and assist others as needed.

Physical and Safety Requirements

• Movements: Frequently, Stand, Walk, Sit.
• Manual Tasks: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Reading and Writing: Read and write reports.
• Health and Safety: Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• 5+ years relevant Truck Mechanic experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus.
• Able to obtain DOT Med Card.
