Diesel Technicians at Gordon Truck Centers (GTC) dealerships lead the charge in workmanship, commitment to safety, and providing reliable, first-class service to customers across the Pacific Northwest. GTC builds the team with the best employees and we’re hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the Yakima, WA location.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Work with a team and leadership you can rely on, and develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.

Compensation

Based upon level of skill and experience, hourly compensation is $20.00 to $50.00. Night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor differential pay available.
