Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Ability to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, team player mentality and belief in safety first.

Pay

Compensation is based upon level of skill and experience, with hourly rates ranging from $20.00 to $50.00. Differential pay is available for night shift, weekend shift, and lead/mentor roles.
