GTC builds their team with the best employees and they’re hiring experienced Diesel Technicians for the La Grande, OR Freightliner Northwest location.

Responsibilities

• Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.
• Work with a team you can rely on and train to build your skill sets.
• Perform routine maintenance or complete engine overhauls in well-equipped, safe facilities.
• Develop technical skills through training opportunities.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.
• Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Heavy equipment dealership experience is preferred but not required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
